This is a reminder that there will be a Homeschool Orientation at Books and Books in Coral Gables at 7:00 PM this Wednesday, August 19th. Claudia Franklin will be there representing The Examined Life.

Dear Families,

We are having our "Orientation to Homeschool" event at Books & Books this Wednesday August 19, at 7:00 PM. This event will be presented by Maury Fernandez our FPEA District Director. We will also have several leaders of other support groups and services providers to offer their services. We will be covering the required procedures to homeschool as well as teaching methods, curriculums, and resources available. This is a great time to talk to other families about homeschooling and have your questions answered. This free event is open to everyone, so feel free to pass the information to other families that you think might benefit from it.

I would also like to invite existing families that could bring your children's portfolio or curriculum to show to other families just getting started and help answering questions.
