Overview

We are seeking a Project manager with Data Management Specialist to support data cleansing and remediation efforts for a new case management system. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with CCWIS data quality and confidentiality requirements set forth by federal, state, and tribal laws, thereby supporting child welfare policies, goals, and practices.

The specialist will work closely with DFPS staff, SMEs, and project stakeholders to guide, coordinate, and report on data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist DFPS in managing the overall data cleansing effort, including assessing the quality of data in existing and related systems.

• Guide and support data remediation/cleansing activities through clear processes and instructions.

• Collaborate with Client subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure data routines align with business needs.

• Identify risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies.

• Report progress to management on a regular basis.

• Ensure all data management processes align with CCWIS data quality and confidentiality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Years	Required / Preferred	Experience
8+	Required	Experience with enterprise-level projects leveraging best practices in data management, program management, organizational change management, or vendor coordination.
5+	Required	Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
5+	Required	Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in data-related projects.
5+	Required	Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders (executive leadership, business leaders, project staff).
5+	Required	Advanced interpersonal skills; ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organization.
5+	Required	Excellent written/oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
1+	Required	Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
4+	Preferred	Experience with child welfare case management systems.
