Position will be 2 days (Wednesdays and Fridays) remote with 3 days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above
Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius)
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Job Description
The Business Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing business objectives, user requirements, and system capabilities to identify problems, propose solutions, and improve processes. The role involves conducting studies, performing cost/benefit analysis of alternatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to document business needs and translate them into actionable system requirements.

Key responsibilities include analyzing operational procedures, documenting input/output requirements, and preparing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and modifications required. The analyst will review existing system capabilities and limitations to determine the feasibility of changes or enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications:

13+ years hands-on experience as a Business Data Analyst in the IT industry with strong analytical and documentation skills.
13+ years experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business and data challenges.
10+ years experience designing and optimizing data workflows and management processes using modeling/mapping tools.
10+ years expertise in writing Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.
8+ years experience developing data documentation (dictionaries, mappings, BRDs).
8+ years experience in creating visual data models and dashboards for communication and reporting.
8+ years experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and issue resolution.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple data projects concurrently.
