Job Description:

The Business Analyst will support higher education policy initiatives, data-driven decision-making, and process improvements. This role involves gathering business requirements, documenting workflows and business processes, analyzing data trends, developing reports and dashboards, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance higher education programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in serving as the primary, or sole, business analyst to gather requirements for a custom-built application in Salesforce, preferably within a government environment. They will focus on user interface and workflow analysis, process optimization, and stakeholder communication.

4	Required	Experience working in Salesforce.
2	Required	Proficiency in Visio or other process workflow tools.
2	Required	Experience working with confidential data and process implementation to provide information security.
2	Required	Experience working with user story development in Azure DevOps.
4	Preferred	Experience in Agile development and backlogs.
4	Preferred	Experience working in Public Sector.
1	Preferred	Working familiarity with the Texas State Legislative Process in state agencies.
