• Experience working in public sector or state government environments, preferably within public safety or law enforcement agencies
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

 Job Description:

The resource will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project activities, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams. This role ensures successful delivery of projects by maintaining alignment with the client objectives, governance standards, and established project management methodologies.

 

Required Experience

• 8+ years managing large-scale, complex IT or business transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of PMI/PMBOK, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologies
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
• Expertise in stakeholder management, risk management, issue tracking, and change control
• Executive-level communication and reporting skills
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools
• Experience ensuring compliance with governance, procurement, and organizational policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Texas State Government/Public Sector, preferably Public Safety or Law Enforcement
• Experience with FAST, DIR, or similar state procurement frameworks
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
• Experience managing IT system implementations, enterprise applications, or data systems
