    • Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Administrator will lead the modernization of legacy systems and drive the implementation of modular, scalable, and cloud-native data solutions in support of Client's transformation objectives. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Database, AWS, and cloud-native architecture. The administrator will be responsible for optimizing database performance, ensuring secure cloud deployments, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to enable agile delivery and maintain architectural governance. The position is critical to ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient management of data across both legacy and modern systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management

  • Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for writing complex, performance-optimized queries

  • Expertise in Oracle Data Guard and high availability/disaster recovery strategies

  • Proficiency with RMAN for database backup, restore, and recovery operations

  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure and cloud security best practices (preferably AWS)

  • Familiarity with cloud-native databases and PaaS offerings

  • Ability to develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes

  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and big data analytics integration in data environments

  • Experience working in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for database changes
