Job Description:
The Traffic Technology Network Architect will design, implement, and support advanced traffic technology network systems. This role involves creating network solutions for new traffic systems, supporting network incidents, developing enhancements for large-scale cellular networks, reviewing new broadband and IoT communication technologies, and establishing network policies and procedures. The position ensures Client's traffic technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
Work to Be Accomplished:
The worker will perform highly advanced network architecture and analysis to support the Client's Traffic Technology Program. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and integrating complex traffic control and communication systems, monitoring and enhancing network performance, and leading major network initiatives under the Infrastructure Traffic Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of network solutions for traffic technology systems.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide expert guidance on new network designs.
- Review and validate proposed network solutions to ensure quality and compliance.
- Act as a liaison between Client IT and project stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
- Manage and coordinate work with third-party vendors and internal technical teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new traffic technologies, hardware, and software for implementation.
- Set priorities and oversee maintenance, development, and analysis of traffic network systems.
- Support and troubleshoot large-scale network outages in coordination with the network team.
- Recommend updates to network protocols, services, and standards.
- Analyze traffic system data to identify performance issues and provide data-driven insights.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to Client management and stakeholders.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
