TekRADIUS account cannot be authenticated

Hi,

I set up several groups of accounts for testing, and also connected TekRadius to the AP controller, but I cannot use the internal user in TekRadius settings for account authentication. Is there something wrong with my setup? Thanks.

Connection test platform: Android 13, ios, Windows 10/11

Can you send TekRADIUS log entries (Accessible through File menu) after setting log level to developer at Settings / Service Parameters?

Can you send me screen capture for the Clients tab of TekRADIUS Manager? You have RADIUS clients in IP range 192.168.254.100-192.168.254.155. You need to have either individual clients entries for devices if you use different RADIUS secrets for each device or a default entry if you use the same RADIUS secret.

Thank you for your quick reply,  ip range 192.168.254.100-192.168.254.155 is where the AP controller(DLink DNH-100) is located, and the IP range of the client that actually uses the 802.1X wireless network is in the range of 10.1.0.X. Thanks.

You have a single client entry for 192.168.254.250/32. This does not cover all client IP address range. Please add a client entry Default with the same RADIUS secret and try again.

My wireless client IP range is 10.1.0.1-10.1.3.254, how to set it on Clients, and each user account password is independent, I wonder if it can be set like this? Thank you.

Client means access device which provides network connection to your users in RADIUS terminology.

Do you plan to assign IP addresses from the IP range 10.1.0.1-10.1.3.254 to your users?

You can enable TekRADIUS Internal DHCP server and assign IP addresses to the clients if your access devices can relay DHCP requests to TekRADIUS server.
