Description:
• The Sr. Engineer – AWS is responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services.
• This role provides technical leadership across cloud engineering initiatives, ensuring platforms and services meet enterprise standards for performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and security.
• The Senior Engineer partners closely with all application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to enable modern engineering practices, accelerate cloud adoption, and support business-critical workloads through robust architecture, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:
• This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Understanding of Agile development and extensive hands-on participation with SDLC life cycle
• Working proficiency with collaboration and tech documentation toolsets like workflows and use case diagrams.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Excellent communication skills to present the API vision to stakeholders both internal and 3rd party clients.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform market research, observe trends and make recommendations for the Fintech API product.

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject or experience
• 6+ years of experience in working with Software development teams.
• Ability to plan, deliver client integrations end-to-end from inception to the post-launch support with impeccable execution by working closely with internal and third party partners business stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, integration patterns, and API security.
• Ability to perform thorough competitive market research on Fintech products and aspects along with well versed with providing business reporting requirements and data analysis skills

• Visualizations of integrations, user experience, workflows using tools like Visio / Draw.io / PowerPoint/ etc.
• Consumer Banking Industry domain experience would help a great deal"

• Maintaining an expert level awareness of relevant software design techniques, development tools and processes, providing leadership in the use of these across the organization area.
