Do you think that Google Groups will work for us? It seems like it
will let members post pictures etc. and I like the discussion section
too. What do you think?

Yes it might take a day or so. I think it will be better than some of
the other choices I have seen. I think I will continue to check it

I added your photo to a page to see if it would work and it did. I
then started a discussion on it. What do you think?

I think this would be a great addition to the club website. We would
all need to learn how to deal with the mechanics. If we can make that
work easily, it would add a lot to mentoring and critiquing by club. I
couldn't figure out how to add a photo to a page.

I have added Babara Luzzader and invited Ed Bier to the mix to see
what they think. I'm hoping it will be something that will work for
us. There have been requests for it but I had not found a good choice
for us. I'm still working on the settings. It sends an email to all
members each and every time someone posts a discussion so I'm not sure
it will be for everyone. Still looking into that.

I have invited a few others to see what they think. I plan to give it
until Thursday to see if we want to move forward with more invites. I
have also tried my own membership to see what it looks like from a
"just" member view. Looks pretty easy and I like that members can
control how they are emailed etc.
