Chinese characters not displayed on windows 10

As you can see in the picture, Chinese characters are not displayed properly on my machine (Lenovo ideapad with windows 10) with Tegaki. I can't figure out what the problem is. I tried installing the Chinese input method but it didn't change anything. I also installed some extra Chinese fonts without success. Any suggestion?

I have no idea what could cause the problem since I am not a Windows user myself.

Tegaki is using the GTK toolkit for its user interface.

Maybe you'll have more luck asking on the GTK mailing-list:
http://www.gtk.org/mailing-lists.php
Tell them that you're using a GTK-based application and that Chinese fonts don't appear properly.
