HOW TO USE THE PAGES - READ THIS BEFORE CREATING ONE

I am reposting an earlier post of mine with some modification, please
read it. Also if you see the below violated, please feel free to email
me directly, so I can catch it. You can email me directly, or you can
use the "send message to the owner" link as well.

I also want to say that as you know we try to keep this group spam
free, by moderating new members. However unfortunately anybody can
post pages, without our approval, therefore spammers and perverts are
many times targeting directly the pages function. If you notice this
please do write to me also.

Here is my original post about the subject, it is still valid, so
please read it.

Hi, the majority of you don´t know me as I don´t post here a lot, but
I am the owner of this group.

I just noticed that the feature of pages are being misused. These
should be used like a webpage, when you want to show yourself, but
here they were altered into discussions. Instead of using the
discussion feature, new members started to use the pages to introduce
themselves.

In discussion, you only type something but in pages, you can use html,
you can place pictures, play with the colors, etc or you can put there
something that we would always want to refer back. But the "Hi, I am
Vivi and I leave in Mexico, looking for friends" type of messages
should stay here under discussion.

With that in mind, I deleted the majority of the pages, except one
that I renamed to Sean´s page, as it had a photo and was something
closer to what a page should be.

In the meantime, I encourage everybody to create his/her own page, in
fact we can also create a group page where the different members post
their pictures and a brief description.

I also hope that this has helped to create the group on a way that it
is easier to figure it out what´s going on.
