COMEDK UGET 2017 Date announced

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the dates for Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET 2017) for Engineering Courses. COMRDK UGET 2017 is a single common entrance test for admission to engineering courses in the COMEDK member institutions of Karnataka. The Computer based entrance examination will be conducted on May 7, 2017 (Sunday).

 COMEDK UGET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

 
Eligibility for Engineering: 

Candidates applying for engineering courses should have qualified PUC or 10 + 2 higher secondary or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject. Candidates belonging to general category must have secured minimum 45% marks whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates of Karnataka are required to secure minimum 40% marks in the PUC or 10 + 2 higher secondary examination. Candidates holding a diploma in engineering are not eligible to apply.

 Eligibility for Architecture: 

Candidates applying for Architecture courses should have qualified PUC or 10 + 2 higher secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government.  Candidates belonging to general category must have secured minimum 50% marks whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates of Karnataka are required to secure minimum 45% marks. 

The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students. There shall be no other entrance test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
