This was a really good book. It was like the movie Day After Tomorrow
but better and in diary form. Miranda is keeping this diary when she
hears that an asteroid is going to hit the moon, but it shouldn't
cause any damage. On the night it hits everyone is outside watching.
the asteroid hit the moon and knocks the moon closer to the earth and
messes with the climates. On the news they hear of tsunamis hitting
new york, alaska, and even Hawaii is submerged. It gets a little
scary. Miranda's entries are telling the story of her family's
survival when chaos erupts.

Oh God. I don't like disaster movies at all. They just scare me to
death! I couldn't go to bed after we had the 5.4 in Chino Hills the
other day! That certainly would be fiction, in my opinion. Not the
fact that an asteroid hits the moon (that happens ALL the time), but
that the scientists do not realize that it would have changed the
climate. Trust me. They would have been ALL Over it.
