This sequel to the original graphic novel is darker and more serious.
It shows Satrapi's struggles as she goes through schools in Europe and
experiments with adult matters at the age of 16. She finds herself
reflecting and saying, "Why do I look like this?" She finally gets
back to her mother and father in Iran and see how much her friends
really have changed. At the end, she leaves once again. But this time,
she's not as sad. She's a woman now.
