Dear Mukesh,
It was such a pleasure meeting you in person this Monday. I really appreciated your time showing me around as well as your valuable advice for my career development. As per your request, I arranged a visit on April 1, 2013 with Patt (a lady), the manager of Rutgers Cook Campus Center (CCC), New Brunswick.
Here is the Facebook page that you can review the event photos and please check out here if you like to watch some video clips from the TEDxRutgers speakers from the prior years.
Additionally, I am also writing to ask for three requests for the coming TEDxRutgers conference on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
1. The leadership team plans to give out folders to the audience, containing giveaways, program guide, letter heads, as well as handouts from the speakers. Could you please kindly reply to this email with any additional flyers or informational handouts you would like to share with the audience? It can be about your organization or the topic you are going to address.
2. As per our conversation on Monday, we would like to collect a draft speech or the outline of your talk by the end of the week. If that's not possible, please let me know which approximate date would work for you.
3. Could you please send me your biography along with your photo? We will display the information on the official TEDxRutgers website for event-use only.

It was a nice conversation, and I congratulate you on your achievements, growth and ambitions.As I had indicated to Cathy, if it is possible, it would be helpful if I can go see the venue in advance of the event to get a basic understanding of room size, stage layout, acoustics, and audio / visual layout. I don't need to be accompanied if timing is not convenient, as I would just step in for a minute to quickly evaluate. If the venue is locked and not open, perhaps someone can meet me there at a convenient time. Just need the exact address and name.Further, if you are trying to fill in all the available seats and know that there is any availability, please let me know and we can circulate the invite to a select part of our network of NJ entrepreneurs, innovators, technologists, thought leaders and Rutgers alumni. It would be great if you had a house full with a waiting list which will help to further build your brand and following...Cathy had also mentioned that she can email me a link to prior recorded presentations. I have been a huge fan of TED and TEDx for some time, and would love to view prior events if possible.
