Hey all,

Allow me to give a bit of context here - Holly and a small group of other folks are organizing these Tuesday happy hours as lead-up events to TEDxPotomac on May 20th.

The goal is to meet others who may be coming, share a little TED goodness, and generally just hang out and have a good time.

I'm not sure exactly what's on the agenda - whether TED videos are going to be shown for example.  Holly, can you give us some more details on what you have planned?

So is this going to be sent to anyone who registered?  If not this week (a little late perhaps), then in future weeks?  (or maybe it already was)

I would adjust the messaging a little to make it clear what exactly this is (and that the event is not in Potomac):

Subject: TEDx Tuesdays - New Happy Hour for TEDxPotomac

Please join TEDxPotomac for its new TEDx Tuesdays Happy Hour, to be held every week from now until the big event on May 20!  (possibly something about purpose, program, etc. for the HH)

[Details - as above, except for confusing name]

I don't really have an agenda.  I plan on bringing a few handouts about TEDxPotomac - the ones from the sponsor packet.  I wanted to use this happy to gauge general interest and to see what folks want out of future happy hours.
