Speaker nomination - TS Krishnamurthy, Chief Election Commissioner of India

TS Krishnamurthy was the Chief Election Commissioner of India. He is the person to introduce EVMs in all 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. He has been into addressing at international conferences.

 

Since he is living in Chennai, i strongly believe in him making for a wonderful speaker for our tedx.

 

Just now succeeded in getting his email id - krishnam...@gmail.com from one of my friend.

 

He is a tech savy person and almost responds immediately to emails.

Could i request the speaker committee to buzz Mr.TSK ?

If we are getting Mr.TSK's nod, it would be great to hear his interesting perspectives of our elections dept.

Mr.TSK is the person who insisted on the option of "None of the above" in the EVMs

one more person named Thilak from the Chennai Trekking Club (CTC).

He was refferred to me by Mr.Peter the founder of Chennai Trekking Club.

Thilak is a young guy more associated with organising social treks in the CTC  which  involves taking people from orphanages / homes on trek to the forests; arranging celebrations at orphanages during festivals.  these involve more of responsibility and Peter recommended Thilak as he is a forerunner in CSR part of the trekking club.

 

Peter was a speaker in TEDxChennai 2010.

Folks, I personally know Thilak. Not sure whether he can give a talk on SPARK, but he does a remarkable job in associating himself with many NGOs. As Peter told, he had taken many kids from orphanages and homes to treks and given them a good opportunity to see what nature has to offer. If you guys are ok, I can coordinate with him.
