Thanks Bruce.

I have also update the Excel Macro (tax2.xlsm)
Now all these selection is available:
Sale Type:
County:
Precinct Number:
Account Number:
Adjudged Value From:
Adjudged Value To:
Minimum Bid From:
Minimum Bid To:
Show image: (yes/no)*
*the image is not sort-able on excel so you may want to choose "no" to be able to sort the result.

Enjoy!
Do let me know if there is any question/trouble. I have 3 days window to ask the programmer for any changes. After that, I have to pay more.

Andrew,

took a quick look at this on the excel sheet, adjusted columns to read address and legal discription etc but what column are you looking at trying to sort? as the zip codes can't be sorted (they have address attached they would have to be in a column by themselves), the rest of the columns don't help me in making my descisions quicker.....maybe  I am missing something, we can talk on weekend over phone if needed.

I may need to spend maybe.

thanks though.

Hi thanks for quick look, Bruce.
Well, the excel format was just parsing the information taken from www.publicans.com.
If the address in publicans.com is one lump, then excel will put it onto one lump (one cell).

You can use formula: =RIGHT(J2,5)
where J2 is the cell contain of full address, and the "5" is the number of character from the right. This will extract exactly 5 character from the right, which is the zipcode.

Here I attach the sample.
Look for column O on the "result" worksheet.

Other useful sorting in excel is if you add one column, and put formula, say: percentage of minimum bid off value, then you could sort based on this, and discard any property that is beyond 30% for example.
