You’re invited to enrich your mental and physical health. While we may strive to have meaningful, intentional conversations in our daily lives, it’s much more common to gossip or discuss the many perks of living in this wonderful city (restaurants, yoga studios, people, etc.). This event strives to create a different space.
We aspire for this event to build a community of aware and knowledgeable folks helping each other enrich themselves. We will utilize 2 of the many amazing TEDtalks* to kick-start meaningful dialogues where we learn about a variety of topics, our own reality, and/or the world around us.
And to accompany the dialogue, we will have two different teas to taste. We can learn a little about the tea and sip on something to help further the conversation.
Guidelines:
- Remember the goal of learning something and keep that theme present with you throughout the hours we’re together.
- We hope you can come on time, but understand life happens and you may be late. If you are arriving after a TEDtalk has already begun, please allow others to continue to watch as you get settled.
- As a host, have one TEDtalk in mind, and be ready to let the group know why that specific talk was meaningful to you.Please be aware that when you respond ‘Yes’ to attending that you are acknowledging that you agree to the goal of the group and guidelines above.
