Hey all, 

Congratulations on increasing our drink sales! Last weekend alone we sold almost 20 cocktails! This is wonderful but I know we can do even better in the weeks to come!

Speaking of drinks, let's not forget how important it is to ALWAYS put dirty glasses and mugs in their correct trays and not in the bus bins. These sexy stemless wine glasses aren't cheap and with the increase in alcoholic drinks we need really need to make sure they don't break. 

This week is the start of our set schedule. I have worked hard trying to make sure this schedule works for everyone and makes you all happy. If there is something you would like to change please come see me and we will find a solution.With all that being said, there is a different schedule for next week (7.13-7.19) and the week after (7.20-7.26). Billy and myself will be away and we wanted to make sure everyone knew who was covering which shifts. Set schedule will be back in effect once we're back. 

We have new bloody mary recipe, it is an AMAZING chipotle bloody mary that is made by Nazario. It is premiering as a special this weekend with a bacon wrapped asparagus garnish. 

Our weekday sales have hit a bit of a slump this past week. Looking back on last year's sales this is normal for the month of July.Opener's should be leaving around 2-2:30 depending on how slow the day is going. As the opener it is your job to restock all paper goods including hot and cold cups, lids, sugars, straws, stirrers, etc. Closers, at the end of the day it is your job to make sure all drinks (milk, iced teas, drink specials, orange juice, toddy's, etc) are all made and restocked. 

New lemonade recipe:

1 qt lemon juice

1 qt simple syrup

1.5 qt water

On the weekdays we will wait until the lemonade is very low or empty, rinse it out with water and then make more lemonade right in the machine. This is to prevent it from going bad like it has been recently. On the weekends we will still be having a couple batches already made and ready to go.
