... that may have been TMI, but it's true. As we're all stocking up our liquor cabinets for this winter, I would like to address and remind you all of a couple key points! 

"CUPS" is finally here! Its the most used app for all coffee drinkers in the New York area! Instead of having a frequent customer card, you can now purchase all of your coffee's through the CUPS app instead while keeping track of all your coffee purchases in one place! They have numerous locations in all boroughs and I hope everyone can enjoy this app as much as I do already! If you are approached with a CUPS user, simply place the order under the tab named CUPS and enter the 4 digit Ted & Honey code that can be found near the register. Strongly suggest to frequent customers to get this app as I am still working on getting a gift card system set up! (Yes, you can buy cups for your friends through this app!) http://cupsapp.com

DOH - With all of these new roles now defined, I would like to remind everyone that I urge you ALL to get a start on the NYC DOH food handlers license. This license never expires and is very influential wherever you work in this big ole state. Below is a link to register for the program that leads to a test that can be taken in harlem (my fave). I promise you all, its worth it! Michelle is offering to provide financial support

FoodLab - We have another awesome private event happening next week! A Ted & Honey graduate will be having an evening of his own. Please take a look at the attachment and the fliers that can be found all over the store. It is very important that we are spreading this lovely word to our beloved regulars such as Loulie and Tom. There is now a button for purchasing a ticket through MISC. Please make sure to take down their name/number/email as they are purchasing the discounted ticket.  $65 for all, but use discretion for regulars CONTEST! 

Maintenance

264 is old. Older than you think. As we are entering this colder season, It is my dream to avoid having any major issues like we did last year. Michelle has provided several checklists located downstairs on both walls. Please make sure to document any broken items. i.e. Ice machine broken, leak in sink, leak under espresso machine, noise from low boy. All of these things can reflect to our grade when the DOH arrives and I would rather be safe than sorry right now! One last note about equipment, please be more careful with the swinging doors located at the bar and the kitchen entrance.

BOH/FOH Closers, please make sure all countertop surfaces are clean in the evenings! I should be able to walk in and lick each counter with no fear. Its not about the surfaces you CAN see, its all the surfaces you CANNOT see! Flashlight. think of where that sun don't

I have updated your checklists! Please introduce yourself to your new best friend :) Reminder that vacuuming and moping are actions that are being done DAILY! Please also pay attention to all compressors, each cooling source such as the walk-in and lowboys have compressors that need to be cleaned weekly, if not daily! 

Clock-in's, we have had 2 stations to choose from for you to clock in for the last two months now! There should be no more excuses with a missed clock-in. 

I'm excited to start planning our annual gift exchange and holiday party! Too soon?
