Hi there,
I know by now most of you are aware that I've decided to close Ted & Honey and Parker Red, and I'm so sorry that I was not able to share the news with each of you personally. Before I share any of my excuses for the timing, or what led to the decision, I wanted to let you all know how much I have appreciated you all, and the contributions to both Ted & Honey and Parker Red.
I also want to thank you all for your hard work and the hours put in, your attitude, your teamwork, and your contribution to our commitment to quality in food, service and the environments we create but also in the internal work environments we have.
My brother and I opened Ted & Honey in 2008 and it has taken YEARS to get systems in place and ironically I think our staff now is the best its ever been and that my job is actually the easiest its ever been because so many of you are running things so well.
After my brother moved it became a bigger responsibility and unfortunately the financials just do not support me continuing the businesses any longer. It was a bittersweet decision but in the end its time for me to move on and I feel very proud of Ted & Honey and Parker Red and am looking forward to the change.
As I mentioned to Danielle, Nazario and Billy, the duo at La Vara will be taking over the space at 264 and they are going to be hosting an open call to meet any of you that are interested in working with them at either 264 clinton or any of their other three restaurants. As soon, as I have any of the info on that I will share. They are great people not to mentioned seasoned, accomplished chefs and restauranteurs.
We are having an open house to say farewell to our regulars on the 23rd from 5-7 and I hope all of you can be there.
Please let me know if you have any questions on anything and again thank you
With much gratitude,
Michelle
