Hey kids,
Tuesday October 27th our new menu goes live. I have added all of you to the new menu document in drive. Cant't stress enough how important it is to study it so we can sound knowledge when talking about it. By now you have all seen and (hopefully) tasted every single new menu item. If you have any questions at all call/text/e-mail/speak to myself or Naz.
This is SUPER important....
Do NOT refresh the POS system after 10am on MONDAY. I will be at home putting in the new menu on the back-end so all we have to do on Tuesday is refresh and the new menu will appear. If you refresh the menu on Monday after 10am I will hunt you down.
CUPS APP has added four new menu items. The redneck wrap, Huevos Rancheros, muffin and lunch sandwich. Lunch sandwich includes everything from lunch EXCEPT the steak panini.
We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Michelle and I are still deciding about the day after thanksgiving. Thinking it might be a great time for us all to come in to clean, drink, do maintenance, drink, decorate, drink, and have an informal meeting so we can all the on the same page. We might drink, too.
Since my last e-mail cleanliness has improved, thank you! However, we're little clutter bugs especially the shelves behind the register and under the pastries. This isn't your house and I (THANKFULLY) am not yo momma. Clean up after yourselves ya filthy animals!
Apple cider will be on our winter drink menu starting next week.
Coffee Urns, once you're done washing the insides of them don't forget to wash the OUTSIDE of them. Just take a damp sani-rag and wipe all the surfaces of it. Super simple and quick and they look like a million bucks afterwards.
Someone asked this in a closing report so wanted to touch base on it. Outside food or beverages, what's our rule on them? All outside food and beverages is a health code violation and should be treated as such. We can be nice about it, just inform the customer they will have to leave their drink outside, finish it, or throw it away before coming in. If we see a customer taking out some leftovers or an orange (Melissa) immediately go over and let them know we can't have them doing that. Our health inspection is NEXT MONTH and last thing we need need is a $600 fine because some cheap-o spent $2.5 on a coffee and then pulled out their leftovers from last night.
Anyway, that concludes this week's version of our weekly check-in. This job rocks because of you kids, seriously. I can't even thank you all enough.
Thanks,
Danielle
