While I can manage to set up a track using Ample Sound and record the output , the recorded track never seems to match what I had just played in Strummer in Ample Sound ( when I play it back , it sounds like the notes are being doubled and the timing is all off).

Seconded, Im also having trouble. I can set up a strum pattern which plays back through the plugin, but when I follow the steps to programme the MIDI as per their tutorial videos, I only get the sound of the keyboard, rather than the MIDI playing the recorded pattern Ive programmed into the plugin.

Well I have the 7 day trial and wont be buying. Had nothing but trouble with Ample Guitar III. Making my whole workflow very clonky and unstable and when I attempt to use the effects, both mouse and keyboard do nothing have to false PC shutdown, not good. Nobody seems to have an answer Which is a shame as really sounds good. Have now uninstalled and cakewalk working perfectly.. Cant be trusted.

If you play back an audio recording of that performance along with the MIDI, that will trigger the MIDI instrument again, and you will get it doubled. After recording the Ample Sound performance to an audio track, you will probably need to mute the MIDI clip.

Something has gone wrong with these freebies. I can't use them in w10 the bass or the guitar. They just give me error messages . I used them for about 2 years before and not sure what has gone wrong. I can still use them on my W7 laptop.

I haven't tried recording with the Strat or Acoustic Amplesound models I got quite recently but I've just opened a project with the Strat in it and it seems to be playing fine and I'm on Windows 10 1909 so I don't think it is specifically a Win 10 issue

I tried downloading and re installing a few times. The error message is it can't find the sample library so there is no sound. I did not change any pathways etc. I've installed it to a lot of other computer before without issue. I think it's just this one computer which is not important. It's just my office computer and I don't do any real recording with it. But I like to muck about with midi files.

My main DAW computer is still in mothballs since we moved into a new house last summer. Busy with reno's and enjoying my cabinet making skills so music as a hobby took a back seat. Spending money on tools instead of music gear. Then to top it off, the only gigs we ever play each year have all been cancelled. One of my reno's will be a real nice music room,,, complete with proper treatment. I hope Cakewalk is still working when I get there.

AmpleSound makes incredible sounding acoustic, electric and bass guitar VSTs. I have always been a GS Strum fan for their ability to put proper guitar voicing and strums on a keyboard. However, I was never fully satisfied with Strum voicing because is not based on actual samples. AmpleSound, on the other hand, is based on samples with detailed and extensive articulations. It makes a difference. Besides traditional guitars, check out the Amplesound Lap Steel, just incredible sounding with all the right playable articulations.

Hi, I want to be able to reproduce (live) the sound made by a rhythm guitarist in a jazz,/ swing band
I have downloaded the Ample Sound AGM Lite ll VST. Has anyone out there used the Strumming feature on this VST with Cantabile Solo?

Most definitely. I tried using this in a 3-piece band, but unless you are willing to play to a click, it will get away from you. There are videos of people making these types of VSTs work real well, but there is quite a challenging learning curve to it.

Ample Guitar AGLP is a virtual electric guitar which is based on samples of a Gibson Les Paul. The library has over 6128 samples, all in 44.1 kHz and 24 bit recording quality. Furthermore Ample Guitar G offers all common playing varieties such as strumming, fingerpicking and much more. Another feature is the integrated tab player that can play all popular formats of Tabs.

The Tab Player can load and play several prevalent guitar tablature file formats. Users can load, display and playback any specific track inside a tablature file. When used in DAWs, the Tab Player also allows users to export the tablature as an audio file.

Creating music recordings or playing for a live audience can be nerve-winding if you don't have the right equipment or setup. If you're on a tight budget and need to buy a cheap electric guitar for now, don't worry. There are several steps you can take to make your budget instrument sound like the more expensive ones that are often played on stage.

What many beginners don't realize is there's more to the electric guitar than the guitar itself. There's the amp, the microphones, outboard gear, etc. that make a recording studio or on-stage performance sufficient. You don't necessarily need all the most expensive items to get a quality recording... especially when doing recordings only for your own music.

Keep in mind that a cheap electric guitar must have a good-quality amp. The guitar itself should make a good sound coming through the amp. These two working together are what makes a great sound. To be on the safe side, buy your electric guitar and amp together and ask to test both together to see how it sounds. Once you have these two necessities with a good sound, you're ready to add other items to your music collection.

Most electric guitars are made from wood but you can usually find cheaper brands made of other materials. Cheap electric guitars might be made of particle board but have a hardwood laminate such as maple on the top to make it look more stylish. This style is often called "flame top." The body might also be made of aluminum alloys, carbon composites, or plastic (e.g. poly carbonate), each having its own sound.

Most electric guitars (no matter what the cost) will not have a sound hole as a regular acoustic guitar. This is not needed because the guitar pickups will carry the sound to the amp electronically. Without the sound hole, many of these feature exotic designs and colors to make them really stand out. So you can easily find one to match your style.

If you're a beginner, buy a cheap electric guitar to get started, and be sure you like playing before you get an expensive one. Even the more affordable instruments can have an excellent sound with the right amp and setup. As you build your playing skills, you can also increase your knowledge base and start adding quality products to your music room one at a time!

When I originally reviewed the John English Masterbuilt Fender Telecaster(AGTC II) from Amplesound the last time around, there was only one thing missing from this classic Axe-the neck pickup had not yet been sampled. Love it or hate it, the neck pickup serves key function in classic music creation. Whether you are after the subtle sounds of the near acoustic fingerpicking, jazz and blues this lipstick pickup is a critical ingredient. The neck has also been popularized in reggae and ska music as well but a majority of traditional US roots music has been created using the lipstick pickup where the Telecaster is concerned.

For some it is an acquired taste and that is a fair point but now you have both the bridge and the neck pickup is available on this master class instrument. With the addition of some of the new functions that have been added to the Amplesound instruments like improved Tab usage and the Riffer function, you can now get even more out of this classic beauty, which has been a favorite of mine and is still something that I use on a regular basis since its initial release. This is hands down the best-sampled Telecaster on the market..

I simply love the clean tone and the expressive sound of this guitar. The realism of the string noise, host of articulations (more on that in a minute), strumming engine and a new Tab to Midi feature.

Since the Ample AGF (Fender Strat) does not have a bridge pickup, apparently there was a pretty big push to sample the bridge first on this one. From my perspective, this is actually a good choice since the bridge pickup contains more coil windings and the added combination of the metal mount and slant position provides for recipe for that signature gutsy twang we all love it and really cuts through the mix.

Although all guitars share most of the same features, they of course each offer their own distinctive sound. To demonstrate this, I recorded the same solo melody line with all the guitars and all the pickups, as well as a little strumming sequence. The electric guitars are sent through Amplitube 3 s Fender Supersonic amp .
