Some news for the first month of 2014:

StartUp Toledo continues it monthly speaker and networking series. TONITE! http://toledotechevents.org/events/725

Most monthly groups were quiet in January; expect TWP, DevToledo, OpenHack and other groups to be more active next month.

Pitch and Pour continues as well, #2 is Jan 30th. http://toledotechevents.org/events/633 - this time standalone, not part of a conference. "University of Toledo Launch Pad" is the name of the incubation program, not sure of that is a new name. I know it got some state funding recently - http://www.ohiosenate.gov/democrats/press/senator-brown-announces--funding-for-the-university-of-toledo-third-frontier-incubation-program

And we now have a Girl Develop It local chapter. http://girldevelopit.com/chapters/toledo To stay in touch, be sure to follow them on Twitter, like them on Facebook, and join the Meetup group, a bit harder to find at http://www.meetup.com/Girl-develop-It-Toledo/

A bit more about GDI - from http://girldevelopit.com/about
