TechTalk Hackathon Starts Tonight at 5pm

Hey all, just wanted to send a friendly reminder that the Hackathon starts tonight at 5pm. 

From 5pm tonight (Friday) until 5pm on Sunday, we'll be working day in and out to create a marketplace for tutors (and eventually beyond). We're looking for your help to build this! We're looking for anyone who's interested in helping to join us at the Wyoming Technology and Business Center (1938 E Harney, Laramie, WY 82072) anytime between 5pm tonight and 5pm on Sunday.

You don't need to know how to code to help out! We could use help from graphics designers, copywriters, businesspeople, marketers, videographers, and beyond. You can also just come check out what's going. This is also a great opportunity to learn how to code if you've got any interest in doing so!

You don't need to stay for the whole 48 hours (but you can if you'd like!). While you're welcome to drop in anytime, we are having all hands meeting at 5pm on Friday and 10am/2pm on both Saturday and Sunday. These are ideal times to stop by to get oriented. 

Can't make it in person? You can probably help out remotely. Email me for a Slack invite!

What should you bring?

• Laptop
• Charger
• Headphones
• Coffee mug
• Water bottle

Others are going to such extremes as to bring computer monitors, keyboards, sleeping bags as slippers.

Coffee and water will be provided throughout the event. We'll also likely be providing some food for those participating.
