My name is Le “Joey” Zhang and I am from Yichang, Hubei. In this coming fall, I will be studying as a graduate student at University of California, Berkeley specialized in Product Design and Engineering Management. I received my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama this past May and now I am working as an intern here at TechSpace for the first half of this summer. 

Personally, I like basketball, biking, swimming, reading, traveling and making new friends! In the future, I plan to run some international business between China and USA. For those who are also interested in international trade between China and USA, please contact me! Or maybe you just need some tips on studying abroad or traveling around USA.

My interest is ingenious technology and art, difference between east and west.

The influence of western culture was not felt in Japan until after the late Edo period and the time of seclusion (late 19th Century). At teamLab we believe that up to this time it is possible that the Japanese people had a different way of seeing and understanding the world, and as a result had a different way of experiencing the world to that which we know today.

Besides Japanese have a another way of technology. A case of Wearable computer,

Google glass is personal things .Necomimi is peoples things.

teamLab is an Ultra-technologists group made up of specialists including; Programmers (User Interface Engineers, Hardware engineers, Computer Vision Engineers,and more), Mathematicians, Architects,  Graphic Designers, Artists, Editors and more.

We create works through "experimentation and innovation" making the borders between Science, Technology, Art, and Design more Ambiguous. 

And I am able to introduce about Japanese Geek Community,Nico-Tech.

Nico-Tech are fab-geeks / makers / tech-enthusiasts from Japan.

Hi 

I’m Alex. I’m software engineer from Russia. Currently live in Shenzhen. 

Our compony are developing small web application for advertising agencies in Russia which collect some stats from Facebook, Twitter and etc. Mostly I use Ruby and Ruby on Rails in my daily work.

Also we are trying to developing from scratch our first hardware IOT project. It’s not easy for my. =)

Hi everyone,

I'm Janek, I was spending some time in Techspace at the beginning of this month. Many thanks to everyone there for the very warm welcome and help with my projects (I will invite you for a meal when I am back in Shenzhen)!

I've been working for roughly the last 10 years on small, wireless sensor projects (here's an interview I gave on some of my old projects: http://blog.silabs.com/2012/11/26/interview-with-janek-from-speckled-computing/ ).

Recently I've been focusing more on projects involving Bluetooth LE, mainly using the very neat NRF51 series of systems on chip (ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller and Bluetooth LE radio in one). I showed some of you my project for a "remote control" dev board, which I hope to turn into some sort of open hardware / software project.

I look forward to coming back to Shenzhen and Techspace, maybe some of us can start some project collaborations next time!
