Once again, the wall. I hits it.
I successfully, with some pointers from Drew, fixed my usb permissions so that my newly soldered USBTinyISP could burn a new bootloader to my motherboard. Burned successfully.
But then, while trying to follow the instructions for burning the sanguino firmware to it, I could not find the .pde file specified. In fact, in the firmware folders I couldn't find any .pde's at all, only hex files.
Eh? What am I missing here? It's been so long since I uploaded firmware to a motherboard that I can't remember what I did.
It's not a big deal, I can use my old motherboard. But I'd like to try this one now that it's got a new bootloader to see if it solved that" toolhead 0 not found" problem. but I can't do that until I get the
new firmware uploaded. Any ideas?
BTW, Makerbot is sending me a new gearmotor. We should try to cut the planetary gears off of the bad one and see if we can use them for something else cool.
