new MB mobo update

Hey all

On the advice of Bill, I reburned the bootloader to this new mobo that I got with my kit, the one that was giving me the "Toolhead 0: Not Found" error.

I reuploaded the original SanguinoMaster firmware and voila, it worked- found the toolhead just fine. Of course I immediately updated to the new firmware, and got the same error again. I tried every historical firmware, and only the oldest in RepG (v 1.6) would find the toolhead, and then only half the time. About every other attempt at connection would find it.

So to hell with that. If my dusty old handmade mobo can work all teh time with the newest firmware, so should this one. I wrote to MB and I assume that I will be able to send it back for a new one.

So thanks again, Bill. Good idea and it showed that it is a bad board.
