I have created a robot with a tmobile g1 and an arduino. I need help with the second phase of the robot and creating a better chasis for the wheels and holder for the cell phone. Anyone interested in helping me with that?
A little bit about the
robot:
1. Uses tmobile g1 with a special kernel that allows the undocumented serial port to be utilized using the android operating system
2. An arduino, which is 100% opensource hardware
3.
Two motors that are only $3.50 cents each! (Uses wifi from the
internet to control the motors through the phone's serial port)
4. Bambuser for realtime video streaming from the phone
I think it may be the cheapest remote telepresence robot in existence. Here is my first prototype:
