That was such an interesting to find out. I mean, I know it's fast, but I for whatever reason didn't think they think it's worth the integration cost (they have to have their own ripgrep builds so they set up a CI and everything, along with a JS library for using it)

You learn something new everyday...

And that also explains how they are able to provide that good search function on repos. I always wondered where that came from. Turns out, they were indeed just plainly greping into the files. Smart ngl.
