Folks,

The Open Libraries project that I run at Internet Archive is picking up speed. We had a standing-room-only session at ALA (session was recorded by ALA & will be released soon), and our partner list has grown to more than 20 libraries using controlled digital lending to lend digital books to their patrons.  I'm holding another informational webinar next week, and would love to see a Missouri library join in the session (and the program!).  The webinar is Wed, July 10 @ 11am CDT, registration at:

For a recent post on controlled digital lending, you might be interested in this from EveryLibrary: https://medium.com/everylibrary/what-controlled-digital-lending-does-to-make-every-book-available-online-114834e749bd . It gives a good overview of the benefits to libraries and how the service can help provide equitable access to materials you've already purchased.

Also happy to have 1:1 conversations with interested libraries.  Hope to see some of you next week,

Chris
