Hello!

GE is excited to invite you for GE Industrial Internet of Things hackathon - a private forum to encourage and recognize cool ideas that can revolutionize the IIoT. GE has bet big on the Industrial Internet — the convergence of industrial machines, data, and the Internet. We have installed sensors on gas turbines, jet engines, and other machines; connected them to the cloud; and are analyzing the resulting flow of data with an end goal to identify ways to improve machine productivity and reliability. Do you think you have the next BIG IDEA that will help us achieve our goals? Don your innovative hats and register to participate in the Hackathon! We are looking for talented developers who can build innovative solutions around IIoT, Smart City, Smart Machines, Healthcare. This hackathon is open to pre-final and final year engineering students of a select list of college (participating colleges), irrespective of the branch/ stream. Participate in this inter-collegiate hackathon and flaunt your innovative ideas!

Important dates:

  • Phase 1 (Idea phase) ends on 27th Aug
  • Phase 2 (Hackathon phase) shortlisted teams will build their application between 1st-24th Sep
  • Phase 3 Virtual presentation to GE Panel members – 27th Sep (tentative)
  • Phase 4  Presentation of selected ideas and working prototype to GE leadership - Starting Oct (Tentative)

- Top 4 teams will be invited  to GE Digital Bangalore office

- Reward ceremony

Prizes:

  • Winning team stands a chance to win INR 1,00,000 worth gift cards and the top 3 teams stand a chance to win INR 50,000 gift cards
  • In addition, Top Teams stand a chance to work or Intern with GE Digital!
