Greetings !

The Indian Road Safety Campaign brings opportunity for students pursuing their Post Graduation or Final year Undergraduates in the field of  Civil, Transport, Traffic, Planning etc. (preferably from M. Tech.) to join us as IRSC fellows for a duration of 2 months.

IRSC was started as a project under the IIT Delhi chapter of National Service Scheme with help of Transport Research and Injury Prevention Program ( set up under Government of India).  Started as a small project, we have become a youth-led mission led by students from many colleges across India with the aim of making roads safer by working on all aspects of road-safety.

For more details, visit: www.road-safety.co.in

Role of IRSC fellows
  • Mentoring a group of Policy Interns during the tenure of their internship.
  • Providing opinions and inputs in IRSC's policy internship structure and working.

The Policy internship is work from home and it involves 4 phases :

  1. Problem Identification : Selection of an area with a road-safety problem and identifying the problems
  2. Survey of Stakeholders : Surveying the area stakeholders (police, hawkers, commuters etc.).
  3. Solution identification : Suggesting of feasible and practical solution(s).
  4. Implementation : Approaching concerned authorities to get the solution implemented
