Important Notice on Change in Proxy Server IP address

​Hello all,

It is already circulated the proxy address for internet access is being changed to "172.16.2.30" by CIC for technical reasons related to upgradation of backend proxy servers. Users are again requested to start using this new proxy address for internet access immediately instead of the existing address (10.3.100.207). For any problem with accessing internet with the new proxy address , users are requested to report the problem to help...@cc.iitkgp.ernet.in . 

The old proxy address ( 10.3.100.207 ) will be withdrawn on 11.08.2017 afternoon.

All other settings such as the existing proxy bypass i.e. " No Proxy for 10.0.0.0/8, .iitkgp.ernet.in and .iitkgp.ac.in " for internal servers will remain same for now. Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.
