Welcome to the first Weekly Website Watch for 2008! (Yes, I know, a long time in the coming this year...)

If any of you would like to see the Website Watch emails from last year to check out some of the really cool links, you can view the archives from this email list at: http://groups.google.com/group/technolote Every email that is sent through this group can be read on that site.

Anyway, onto the links for this week -

Slanguages.net - a conference about languages education held in the virtual world of Second Life. Read about it and Second Life on technoLOTE.

PlaceSpotting.com - the online map game (would be fantastic on an interactive whiteboard)

Lingu@NET - virtual language centre - quality assured resources and materials for language teachers and learners

LCF Babelzone - fun French, English and Spanish songs for children

International Tongue Twisters - in 108 different languages. Anyone want to work together on a World Languages Tongue Twisting competition/project?

got any links to share? You can either send them to me for inclusion in next week's Website Watch or you can just reply to us all and include the link in your email. Whatever suits you!
