Hi again everyone! Welcome to the technoLanguages Spectacular for this week.

1. Collaborative Projects

Here is the link to a series of sessions on one way to put together and tools to use for a collaborative project: http://hanyulaoshi.wikispaces.com/ICT+PD+-+Collaborative+Projects

The sessions have links to various tools to use, tutorials to help as well as ideas. Session 3, Connecting with a Partner Class, is all about using Tok Box - a powerful video chat application. If you do sign up to it, make sure to find me there!

SESSION 1

b) Tools for Introducing New Language
SESSION 2 –

SESSION 3 –

2. Websites to try:

**Storybird - http://storybird.com/ - for creating short visual stories in any language!

**Vidinotes - http://www.vidinotes.com/ - for creating a printable summary of your video notes. Upload a video, capture images and annotate them, then print to a PDF document.

3. EVENT - The Global Language Convention @ Wesley College, Melbourne: http://www.wesleycollege.net/program.cfm

Next week I'll have links to a screencasting tutorial, more websites to try and a bit more about the technoLanguages ning network for those of you not already a member of it. Have a great week and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!

Jess.
