Faith (Belief) - Part II

"The Kingdom of God is within You!", this said by Jesus. Explanation of this statement by Jesus is what most of the people in the world believe; And this is the only basic belief prevailing in the humankind; the one that is practically accepted in all walks of life.

No God is bigger than a human. Man can become God for others. But there is supreme power beyond our reach, our knowledge. There exists a force that is unimaginable, uncountable. For the lowliest group of people, a man of highness could be his God. For the highly placed person, there exists a supreme power above him, which he believes is God. In ancient times the highly placed people, say for example the Roman empire, created many Gods of their own imagination for cheating and convincing the lowliest people. Today, defeated by the high-power, people themselves had begun to create new Gods for their purpose.

Man believes God resides in the fellow men who help him. He portrays him as God. This belief is of highlighting the personal and transformative nature of God’s kingdom, which transcends physical boundaries and resides within the hearts of those who follow Him.

There is another belief which explores God in a different perspective. That is about the creation of earth; creation of the universe and all living and non-living organisms. Who created all these?

This complicated question alone remains even today despite all convincing stories by scientists and religions. No convincing answers found for this intricate question. Religions and Scientists differ on their theories while answering this question. It results in conflicts and brawls; It divides people as well.

Otherwise, God, many Gods were already discovered on this planet earth. Many have lived and disappeared. And a few live even today.

"கடவுளின் ராஜ்யம் உனக்குள் உள்ளது!", இது இயேசுவால் கூறப்பட்டது.  இயேசுவின் இந்தக் கூற்றின் விளக்கத்தை உலகில் உள்ள பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் நம்புகிறார்கள்; மேலும், இதுதான் மனித இனத்தில் நிலவும் அடிப்படை நம்பிக்கை; வாழ்வின் அனைத்துத் துறைகளிலும் நடைமுறையில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட ஒன்று.

மனிதனை விட பெரிய கடவுள் இல்லை. மனிதன் மற்றவர்களுக்கு கடவுளாக முடியும். ஆனால், நம் அறிவிற்கு எட்டாத உயர்ந்த சக்தி இருக்கிறது. கற்பனை செய்ய முடியாத, கணக்கிட முடியாத ஒரு சக்தி இருக்கிறது. தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு, உயர்ந்த மனிதன் அவனுடைய கடவுளாக இருக்க முடியும். உயர்ந்த இடத்தில் இருக்கும் நபருக்கு, அவருக்கு மேலே ஒரு உயர்ந்த சக்தி உள்ளது, அது கடவுள் என்று அவர் நம்புகிறார். பழங்காலத்தில் உயர்ந்த இடத்தில் இருந்த மக்கள், உதாரணமாக ரோமானியப் பேரரசு, தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட மக்களை ஏமாற்றி நம்ப வைப்பதற்காக தங்கள் சொந்த கற்பனையில் பல கடவுள்களை உருவாக்கினர். இன்று, உயர் சக்தியால் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள், தங்கள் நோக்கத்திற்காக புதிய, புதிய கடவுள்களை உருவாக்கத் தொடங்கினர்.

மனிதன் தனக்கு உதவி செய்யும் சக மனிதர்களிடம் கடவுள் வாழ்கிறார் என்று நம்புகிறான். அவனையே கடவுளாக நம்புகிறான்; சித்தரிக்கிறான். இந்த கருத்து கடவுளின் இராஜ்ஜியத்தின் தனிப்பட்ட மற்றும் மனிதனையே மாற்றும் தன்மையை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது, இது பௌதிக எல்லைகளைக் கடந்து அவரைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களின் இதயங்களுக்குள் வாழ்கிறது.

கடவுளை வெவ்வேறு கண்ணோட்டத்தில் ஆராயும் மற்றொரு கருத்தும் உள்ளது. அது பூமியின் உருவாக்கம் பற்றியது; பிரபஞ்சம் மற்றும் அனைத்து உயிருள்ள மற்றும் உயிரற்ற உயிரினங்களின் உருவாக்கம். இவை அனைத்தையும் படைத்தது யார்?

விஞ்ஞானிகள் மற்றும் மதங்களின் பல கதைகள் இருந்தபோதிலும், இந்த சிக்கலான கேள்வி மட்டும் இன்றும் உள்ளது. இந்த சிக்கலான கேள்விக்கு உறுதியான பதில்கள் எதுவும் கிடைக்கவில்லை. இந்த கேள்விக்கு பதிலளிக்கும் போது மதங்களும் விஞ்ஞானிகளும் தங்கள் கோட்பாடுகளில் வேறுபடுகிறார்கள். இது மோதல்கள் மற்றும் சச்சரவுகளில் விளைகிறது; மக்களையும் பிரிக்கிறது.

மற்றபடி, கடவுளே, இந்த பூமியில் பல கடவுள்கள் ஏற்கனவே பிறந்து மறைந்து விட்டனர்; இன்றும் ஒரு சிலர் வாழ்கின்றனர்.
