Faith (Belief)- Part III

In recent days I have started believing that atheists contribute more to the factions who believe in God. God which is being worshipped, prayed and believed to be the creator of the entire universe, is again and again under debate. The debate that is meted out by non-believers. When would they cease to ask questions like, 'why do you worship this idol or stone or any nature?'. "Will God come and save you if you are in crisis?"

I am not in a position to explain to them just because they ought to understand my point of view. Further, atheism is just another 'school of thought'. All I could tell them is only this much: God exists. There is God for everyone as long as a supreme force or mighty power exists beyond our knowledge. Religious scriptures have plenty of answers for them. But they all require them to follow and believe it. But that is one difficult thing to do.

So, God does exist. As long as my powers are limited, I can conveniently believe there exists a God, the Almighty. It does not mean that I got to depend on him. He is there within me. I know he will run through life. I do not mind whether the God who created the universe would come and save me, or, the God in human form would save me by his divine intervention. (Refer Part II)

Another friend asks why the religious shops continue to promote God if he(she) was omni-present or omni-potent.

Answers lie in his question itself. Of course, religion is fast becoming supermarkets, selling all Godly stuff. No God requested them to do so. No God asked them to sell him. The seller requests every passer-by to read, follow and practice his God, his religion just because he did so.

But, do you know the truth? One can change his faith. one can also change his God. While doing so, you will come to understand the truth behind God.

கடவுளை நம்பும் பிரிவினருக்கு நாத்திகர்களே அதிக பங்களிப்பு செய்கிறார்கள் என்று சமீப நாட்களில் நான் நம்ப ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டேன். பிரபஞ்சம் முழுவதையும் படைத்த, என்றும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யப்பட்டு, வணங்கப்படும்(நம்பப்படும்) கடவுள், மீண்டும் மீண்டும் விவாதத்திற்கு உள்ளாகிறார். நம்பிக்கை இல்லாதவர்களால் நடத்தப்படும் விவாதம்.

"நீங்கள் நெருக்கடியில் இருந்தால் கடவுள் வந்து காப்பாற்றுவாரா?" 'நீங்கள் ஏன் இந்த சிலையை அல்லது கல்லை அல்லது எந்த இயற்கையை வணங்குகிறீர்கள்?' போன்ற கேள்விகளைக் கேட்பதை எப்போது நிறுத்துவார்கள்.

என் கருத்தை அவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் எந்த கட்டாயமும் இல்லை என என்பதால் அவர்களுக்கு விளக்கமளிக்கும் நிலையிலும் நான் இல்லை. மேலும், நாத்திகம் என்பது மற்றொரு 'சிந்தனைப் பள்ளி; சித்தாந்த கூடம்." நான் அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லக்கூடியது இவ்வளவுதான்: கடவுள் இருக்கிறார். நம் அறிவுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட ஒரு உன்னத சக்தி அல்லது வலிமையான சக்தி இருக்கும் வரை அனைவருக்கும் கடவுள் இருக்கிறார். மத சாஸ்திரங்களில் அவற்றுக்கான பதில்கள் ஏராளம். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அனைவரும் அதை பின்பற்றவும் நம்பவும் வேண்டும்.அது ஒரு கடினமான விஷயம்.

எனவே, கடவுள் இருக்கிறார். எனது சக்திகள் குறைவாக இருக்கும் வரை, சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள கடவுள் இருக்கிறார் என்று நான் வசதியாக நம்ப முடியும். அதற்காக நான் அவரைச் சார்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதல்ல. அவர் எனக்குள் இருக்கிறார். அவர் வாழ்க்கைக்கு தேவையான விஷயங்களை தொடர்ந்து நடத்துவார் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும். பிரபஞ்சத்தைப் படைத்த கடவுளே வந்து என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவார், அல்லது மனித உருவில் உள்ள கடவுள் தனது தெய்வீக தலையீட்டால் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவார் என்பதைப் பற்றி நான் கவலைப்படவில்லை.

அவர் சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ளவராக இருந்தால், மதங்கள் ஏன் கடை விரித்து வியாபாரம் செய்கின்றன, கடவுளை ஏன் விளம்பரப்படுத்துகின்றன என்று மற்றொரு நண்பர் கேட்கிறார்.

அவரது கேள்வியிலேயே பதில்கள் உள்ளன. நிச்சயமாக, மதம் வேகமாக பல்பொருள் அங்காடிகளாக மாறி, எல்லா தெய்வீகப் பொருட்களையும் விற்கிறது. எந்தக் கடவுளும் அவர்களிடம் அவ்வாறு கேட்கவில்லை. எந்தக் கடவுளும் அவரை விற்கச் சொல்லவில்லை. அந்த விற்பனையாளர் உங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் தனது கடவுளைப் பற்றிய தத்துவங்களை படிக்கவும், பின்பற்றவும், நடைமுறைப்படுத்தவும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறார்.

ஆனால், ஒரு உண்மை உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமா? ஒருவன் தனது நம்பிக்கையை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளலாம். ஒருவன் தன் கடவுளையும் மாற்ற முடியும். அவ்வாறு செய்யும்போது, கடவுளுக்குப் பின்னால் உள்ள உண்மையை நீங்கள் புரிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.
