The 6th Annual "Techno-Swap-Fest" is a little over 60 days from now at the National Electronics Museum in Linthicum, MD on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9am to 2pm. It's going to be a good old fashioned flea market/swap meet, attracting people from a wide range of hobbies. In past years, we've had over 30 tables worth of good stuff (aka. junk)
for buyers to look at and purchase. And with over 200 buyers usually coming through the doors, lots of the good stuff (aka. junk) goes home with a happy buyer ready to make their greatest masterpiece.
As in past years, we have an impressive list of sponsoring organizations for our 6th year, as listed here:
Please help advertise the event by passing along the event brochure to
any hobbyists, clubs, organizations or businesses that may be
interested. The brochure can be downloaded from the following web site:
by clicking the "Brochure" link in the left navigation menu.
If you are interested in selling your stuff at the Swap Fest, please reply to this email and let me know the number of tables that you would like to reserve. Early reservations will be limited to 2 tables per person, but if you need more just let me know and I'll put your name on a waiting list. If tables are available one week before the event, we'll assign them to those on the waiting list who need more tables and let you know in plenty of time to pack your stuff for the event.
The event is open to anybody who builds anything and all types of items
(non-lethal please) are welcome. The goal is to bring together hobbyists of all kinds and try to replace the old clutter in our workshops with newer clutter :-)
