Hi,
If you are interested in using a wii nunchuck, consider this:

Also, if a wired nunchuck is fine with you, it will be extremely cheap: (Rs 470)
http://www.ebay.in/itm/NINTENDO-WII-NUNCHUK-REMOTE-CONTROLLER-WARRANTY-NEW-/170839641568?pt=IN_Video_Game_Systems&hash=item27c6d60de0

and interfacing with arduino is not too hard:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Wii-Nunchuck-as-general-purpose-controller-via-Ard/
http://arduino.cc/playground/Main/WiiChuckClass
http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/705844:BlogPost:31713

If you really want the nitty-gritty of interfacing the nunchuck to another microcontroller:
http://www.robotshop.com/ca/content/PDF/inex-zx-nunchuck-datasheet.pdf

Remember, the nunchuck can only measure pitch and roll not yaw. Actually, this shouldn't be a problem, but just keep it in mind when coding.

Go for a wired nunchuck,if its cheaper. Wireless isnt really required,we can just give longer cable.

ok... the wired one is around 470. the wireless one was $6 according to one source but in most sites it was given as $14.
I have attaches a very basic version of the abstract.
I havent finalized the algos yet.
Bhuvana's mouse code for keyglove could help alot.
The absence of yaw can be covered up for, I think...

You said you needed a better USB it I2C interface right? Check this out:

http://in.element14.com/ftdi/umft200xd-01/dev-module-usb-to-i2c/dp/2081338

if you need something like this you can order one.

i guess i can change the code though, no need for a i2c to uart
converter.... i am trying it with the i2c imu the 2nd years used for
pangea... i pulled out a wire from the nunchuck and i need a long
screwdriver to open it without cracking the case... can i borrow one
from the technites room? after mid-sems?

Sure no problem. All technites Final Years should have a key to the room. Just ask any one of us to open it when you need access
