Sandeep and myself have put some relevant info as a website hoping that this would be helpful for incoming Indian students and postdocs (using and editing Shashank's and other people's work too). Hi all,

Thanks to all past, present and (probably) future contributors. Great work there Sandeep and Sunder.

If I may, I would like to suggest a couple of points that I had in the initial idea of setting up a separate page.

1. Consider involving someone who is starting or going to start PhD at Technion as the main person since he/she would have enough time to do so. Two people I contacted earlier fell in that category.

2. We can differentiate (say color coding) the information which is India-centric and which is a general one. No reason why a non-Indian shouldn't benefit from Technion Indians.

3. Power of Technion-Indians comes from a vibrant community of Indians, most of whom are kind enough to invest their time in answering the questions. Hence, IMHO, the site would do very well by keeping it open to all to contribute to (say register via Technion mail server). I am not sure how that can be doe in Google Sites though; bitbucket might be useful but not for everyone. But this would also help the site to remain current and definitely worth few minutes of pondering.
