After applying Ravi’s translation, there are still 38 untranslated strings. Please go here to edit them:

Shree ji,
Thanks for your reply.

Point is,  I am not registered here (so can't edit or add translations there) -

So, if someone get himself or herself registered there, can he or she straightaway start editing/translating? If you have any idea about how to do it, please let us know.

Regards,
Ravi

Yes, I think you should be able to do it directly. I had signed in using my github id (there are various options). My initial signup was in 2019 so don't remember whether I had to wait for someone to approve the registration.

It allows for editing of one string at a time, with various suggestions etc. The option to upload the po file is disabled. That's why I posted it on their github issues page.

Ravi Ji,

You and other group members will be happy to note that the latest CI version of gImageReader now has the option to use Hindi UI as translated by you. Thank you.

You will need to  install the latest CI version of the program and choose intl option from dropdown while installation.
You should be able to do set LANG=<lang code> in a cmd shell and then launch the program from that shell, and it should pick of the locale code you chose.

C:\Windows\system32>set LANG=hi_IN
C:\Windows\system32>"C:\Program Files\gImageReader\bin\gimagereader-qt5.exe"

See attached image. I started the cmd shell in administrator mode.

On usage, if you feel a need for tweaking the translation it can be done via weblate interface.
