While testing the XDVNG converter I saw the list of all others
available there, including Sanskrit99. I had a Word document in
sanskrit99 with my father's bhajans but no proper source file. It
also converted very quickly and very well.

Most of the punctuation has been ignored, which is Ok. I think
parenthesis got converted as ll.

NarayanJi, I'll email you the word document, if it will help.

Thanks again,
Shree

There is a problem with these fonts.  They have used  some of these punctuation marks for more than one purposes. For example,  ")" has been used for sanyuktaaxar 'pra'  as well as  closing bracket. Similarily, I found that  comma (,) is also used  as 'ru' (as in rupayaa).

So there is no way to distinguish between the intended  use in such cases.

I have a suggestion, if you allow for HTML Source to be converted,
then in that option you can use the <FONT..> and </FONT> tags to
toggle whether the text is to be converted or not.

Please see below for a sample of mixed text - xdvng, english and
punctuation marks.
