the motivating message in this group for 'inventing' a keyboard for

hindi like the japanese/chinese had done did not lead to a fancy h/w :-(

however, it HAS led to my making a very powerful tool to type ANY 

language of the world using a very TINY device .. a NumPad

these are availble for a very low cost and can be attached thru usb

the letters of ALL languages have been 'grouped' .. 

indian languages as per the ka-varga, cha-varga, etc

western languages as per a,e,i,o,u groups

to try it out, click OUTSIDE the text box and use numbers

ka is 1st group .. 1st letter   ,, hit 1 .. then hit 1 again .. get ka in the textBox

kha is 1st group .. 2nd letter  .. hit 1..  then hit 2 .. get kha in the textBox

....

....

ba is 5th group .. 3rd letter .. hit 5 .. then hit 3 .. get ba in the textBox

for trying it out, you can use the number pad on the normal keyboard too !

on laptops, the upper row of keys will work ..
