From the above link, you can download a Hindi/ Devanagari keyboard
layout created by me. Request moderator to consider uploading a
version of that at this group's file section. This is entirely my
creation, so there is not going to be any copyright issue.
I have named it Shusha to recognize the enormous contributions made by
Mr Harsh Kumar who has given the free Shusha font in the earlier days
that is still in use at several places. I had myself used that only
for about 4-5 years before switching to Unicode. It is Phonetic,
meaning that k will gives क, shift k wil ख and so on, meaning Hindi
letters are kept at the nearest English sounding letter. Most of the
keys are mapped just like in Shusha of Mr Harsh Kumar.
It is created by using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator. You need to
have latest dotnet runtimes installed on your PC to be able to use it.
The file includes the read me that describes how to install and make
it working, and also jpgs of keyboard mapping.
