What is the "font-family" tag's name for krutidev 010 font that we
should put in xml's css style sheets?

This is not working whereas I do have krutidev font installed and
working on my pc

ARTICLE { font-family: kruti dev 010; }

giving krutidev010 or krutidev also not work.

What should I give there?

Thanks.

When I put krutidev010 text in word (2010) and try to save it

1. as 97-xml, it doesn't save that and says that related xlst (or some)
file is not there. Why doesn't word creates xlst or whatever files are
required? how do we know what is xslt and how to create it?

2. When I save it as other xml, it does save, but when I open the saved
xml file in browsers (ff, chrome), it opens the file and shows the
document tree saying that xlst file is not there. Well, if some xlst
file was required why not word creates it? What is the used of xml file
created by word if we can't open it directly in popular browsers?

3. Is there xml file viewer that would show not the document tree but
the rendered contents like html?

Thanks.

sorry, ff doesn't ask for xlst file specifically. it just gives this message

"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated
with it. The document tree is shown below."

so, why doesn't word put style information here of anywhere where that
can be accessed by firefox. What is the use of xml file saved by word then?

Thanks.

Unlike html, xml allows the user to define his own tags, so unless the meaning or function of the tag is defined the corresponding html cannot be generated. xslt establishes the correspondence. I have omitted some finer points for ease of understanding.

If you only need the tags defined in html specification then simply save it as html file.
