Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead, design, and support BillingCenter implementations and enhancements across Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter, strong understanding of insurance billing operations, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and system integrators to deliver scalable, compliant billing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
BillingCenter Expertise:
- Act as SME for Guidewire BillingCenter, providing thought leadership across configuration, integration, and optimization
- Lead BillingCenter implementation, upgrade, and migration initiatives
- Define and validate billing processes including invoicing, payments, delinquency, collections, write-offs, and refunds
- Configure billing plans, payment plans, instalment schedules, and producer commissions
- Business & Functional Leadership:
- Translate complex business requirements into BillingCenter functional and technical designs
- Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and solution walkthroughs
- Define business rules for accounts, policies, charges, fees, taxes, and multi-currency billing
- Support product launches and regulatory billing changes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Guidewire Skills:
- 08+ Years of IT Industry Experience, 5+ years of Guidewire BillingCenter hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of BillingCenter data model and core entities, Experience with BillingCenter v9+ / Cloud (GWCP) preferred. Exposure to Guidewire Insurance Suite integrations
- Deep understanding of P&C insurance billing lifecycle. Experience with commercial lines, personal lines, or specialty insurance. Knowledge of compliance, tax, and regulatory billing requirements, Guidewire Gosu, PCF, and rules framework
- Web services (SOAP/REST), messaging, and batch processing, SQL, data reconciliation, and reporting
- Experience with Agile / SAFe delivery models
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire BillingCenter Certification
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
