Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer for an onsite C2C contract role in San Leandro, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android application development and will work closely with cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and maintain high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and maintain Android applications

·       Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Kotlin and/or Java

·       Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries

·       Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams

·       Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability

·       Ensure applications follow Android best practices and security standards

·       Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Strong experience in Android development (Kotlin / Java)

·       Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio

·       Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room)

·       Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations

·       Knowledge of Git and Android build & release processes

·       Good understanding of Android UI/UX guidelines

·       Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with MVVM architecture

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines

·       Prior experience working on C2C engagements

·       Agile/Scrum environment experience

Contract Details:

·       Contract Type: C2C

·       Duration: 6+ months (extendable)

·       Work Mode: Onsite

·       Interview: Face-to-Face required
